Peruvian orchestras and choirs will perform the Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony at Santa Maria church, in Chiclayo, located in Peru’s northern region.
The bishop of the Diocese in Chiclayo, Jesus Labarta Moline said that on the occasion of the 15th Episcopal anniversary “this will be a gift to Chiclayo’s community”.
"The show is totally free and this is the first time that this masterpiece of the German composer Ludwig van Beethoven, will be performed out of Lima," he noted.
The director of the orchestra, Jose Quezada Macchiavello, invited authorities and the public to attend this show that will last 90 minutes and gather 147 musicians.
The free-admission event will start at 19:00 hours and will be preformed by symphony orchestras from Lima, Piura and Chiclayo.
