Renowned Peruvian and foreign chefs on Wednesday will deliver a significant amount of meals to Lima region victims hit by natural disasters.
As is known, the Andean country is currently at the mercy of heavy rains and floods.
11 distinguished Le Cordon Bleu Peru chefs will participate in the first stage. They will bring 500 food portions to citizens from Jicamarca and Carapongo areas.
On the other hand, notable Peruvian cook Gaston Acurio, along with other national chefs, are collecting donations for the victims.
Acurio has been delivering truckloads of food and products to people affected by the onslaught of nature.
"The second truck with aid is departing to southern and northern [areas]. Thanks everyone for the help," he posted on Instagram days ago.
The third one departed minutes ago. The fourth delivery is scheduled for Friday.
Gaston Acurio is Peru's most famous cook.
