He informed that thanks to this free trade agreement (FTA), Peru has more than 500 million potential customers for its products, which opens great possibilities for business and investment.
"Remember that in the last years Peruvian export has grown by 30 percent each year, then, it is a success story and with the Free Trade Agreement it will be even bigger," he told Andina.
Allden said the European crisis prevented Peruvian exports from rebounding more strongly.
"Some countries are more affected than others, but Europe remains as one of the largest trading blocs in the world and a country like Peru, with an emerging economy, should have access to more markets. (The FTA) is very important for Peru and for us too," he added.
Allden said that Peru also has made "great progress and consolidation" on the issue of fundamental rights.
