Peruvian Ambassador to Chile Fernando Rojas highlighted the upcoming presence of Chilean entrepreneurs, who will be attending the Pacific Alliance Business Summit to be held on July 1-2 in Peru.

The said mega-gathering will take place in Paracas city (Southern Ica region).

According to the diplomat, the presence of more than 50 Chilean entrepreneurs at the summit is expected to set a record.

“This is a record participation of Chilean entrepreneurs at these types of events; and this confirms the Pacific Alliance motivates and boosts the presence of the entrepreneurial sector in the regional bloc and in Peru as well,” he told Andina news.

The “CEO Leadership Conference: Entrepreneurial Summit of the Pacific Alliance – Leading Growth” will gather the most renowned leaders in Latin America in one place.

“[…] on July 1, they [Chilean entrepreneurs] will reunite with their Mexican, Colombian and Peruvian counterparts [...]; and they will attend the Presidential Summit later,” he told.

On July 3, the Presidential Summit will host the Heads of State of countries composing the bloc, such as: Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru.

In this sense, the Ambassador highlighted the Pacific Alliance is not only based on promotion provided by the public sector, but on the “functionality of the private sector players,” such as entrepreneurs.

The Pacific Alliance is an economic, trade and financial integration initiative created 2011. Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru are aimed at overcoming socio-economic inequality and achieving greater social inclusion of their inhabitants.
The countries seek to move gradually towards the free circulation of goods, services, capital and persons.
