Peru's top officials to lead Expo Peru-Central America next week

Peru's Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Magali Silva will led the delegation in the trade fair event named Expo Peru-Central America, to be held in the Caribbean cities of San Jose, Costa Rica, and Panama city, Panama, on August 12 to 16, 2013.
These countries are Peru's trading partners and with which the Andean country have Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), thus the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) is interested in further enhance trade and investment relationships with them.

Likewise, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, Carlos Posada, will be part of the delegation visiting these countries along with 75 leading entrepreneurs.

The five-day event is aimed at disseminating the Peruvian tourist destinations and the country's export supply as well as promoting the non-traditional exports.

In this regard, the trade show comprises a business roundtable and a trade and investment forum which will be attended by exporting firms, public officials and directors of various associations. 

Furthermore, it will feature several exhibitions of Peruvian export products, tourist destinations, and the promotion of the country's fashion and gastronomy.
