Peru's sol finished slightly weaker Thursday at PEN2.799 per U.S. dollar compared with PEN2.788 in the previous trading session.
So far this year, the sol has strengthened 0.04% against the U.S. dollar.
In the last 12-month period, the Peruvian currency has depreciated 6.59% against the greenback.
Meanwhile, the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCR) did not intervene in the foreign-exchange market.
