The Lima Stock Exchange's General Index rose 0.28% to end at 20,491.15. The blue-chip Selective Index ended 0.46% higher at 29,833.48.
Financial holding company Credicorp Ltd. rose 0.46% to end at $125.90. It owns Peru's largest bank, Banco de Credito.
Tin miner Minsur SA gained 2.35% to end at 2.61 soles ($0.98), Dow Jones Newswires reported.
Meanwhile, the sol closed slightly stronger at PEN2.652 per U.S. dollar, compared with PEN2.655 per dollar in the previous session.
