18:30 Peru's main stock indexes end higher
 
Lima, Apr. 27 (ANDINA). Peru's main stock market indexes ended higher Friday, as mining companies edged higher on an increase in metal prices.

The Lima Stock Exchange's broad General Index ended 0.48% higher at 22908.98.

The blue-chip Selective Index closed 0.45% stronger at 32715.61, according to Dow Jones Newswires.

Precious metals mining company Compania de Minas Buenaventura SA gained 1.81% to end at $42.25, as gold prices increased.

Copper mining company Southern Copper Corp. rose 0.63% to finish at $32.

Financial holding company Credicorp Ltd. increased 1.55% to close at $131.51. Credicorp owns Peru's largest bank, Banco de Credito.
