Peruvian Karate athlete Alexandra Grande claimed gold by winning in the final of the Women’s -61kg Final Bout 89 competition at the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games on Friday.
Grande defeated Dominican Karina Diaz (4-3). The result enabled her to win the fourth gold medal for Peru.
Previously, she defeated Daniela Lepin (Chile) by a 5-1 score.
