Peruvian midfielder Christian Cueva showed an outstanding performance last Wednesday by scoring a goal and leading an assist for the third one in Sao Paulo's victory against Santos (3-1) at Brazil's Paulista tournament.
Although local club Santos had made the first goal, Cueva's penalty-kick meant the temporary equalizer in the 37th minute.
In the second half, teammate Luiz Araujo commanded the attack and slid the ball into the net (56th minute).
Afterwards, the Peruvian's assist to Araujo was turned into the 3-1 (73rd minute).
Thanks to the victory, the "Tricolor Team" leads the tournament's Group B with 6 points.
