Scheduled for the last quarter of 2016, the future launch of Latam Peru airline's Lima-Jaen route draws interest from the air industry.
The service seeks to satisfy the demand for new destinations and tourist flows.
"Jaen has great tourism potential thanks to its proximity to Kuelap [citadel]; over 100,000 passengers are projected to be transported during the first year," Latam Peru Finance and Business Strategy Director Juan Pablo Olivares affirmed.
Flights to the northern city will be available seven days a week. Thus, the airline will reach a total of 17 national destinations.
