Peru volleyball gets ready for Pan American Cup

Peru's national volleyball team has already arrived in Santo Domingo to participate in the 15th Pan American Cup taking place from July 2nd to 10th, 2016.

Peru, United States, Argentina, Costa Rica, Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago belong to Group B.

Group A is composed of the Dominican Republic, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.

The team is made of Mirtha Uribe, Clarivett Yllescas, Alexandra Machado, Andrea Urrutia, Angela Leyva, Maguilaura Frias, Coraima Gomez, Carla Rueda, Katherine Regalado, Miryec Muñoz, Shiamara Almeida, Mirian Patiño, Vanessa Palacios and Hilary Palma.

The red-white will face U.S. (July 2 at 5:00 P.M. - Peruvian time), Argentina (July 3 at 7:00 P.M.), Costa Rica (July 4 at 3:00 P.M.), Trinidad and Tobago (July 5 at 3:00 P.M.) and Cuba (July 6 at 3:00 P.M.).

Quarter-, semi-finals and the final game will take place on July 8, 9 and 10. 

Groups' winners will directly qualify for semi-finals, whereas teams holding second and third spots will compete in the quarter-finals.

Peru will participate in the Pan American Cup for the 11th time.
