Peru must continue to undertake efforts aimed at identifying new markets; in this sense, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement will serve as an opportunity for domestic productive sectors to expand, Peru's Exporters Association (ADEX) former Chairman Juan Varilias indicated.
"Many things have been said in recent days; the truth is that we must seize opportunities and make the necessary adjustments over its two-year implementation period [...]," Varilias said.
"[...] SMEs, a range of services and some industrial sectors could benefit from this agreement," he added.
Varilias —who also serves as Peru-South Korea Business Council Chairman— mentioned TPP will enable the nation's enterprises to establish production chains.
