Peru to strengthen strategic partnerships in Europe

Vice-President of the Andean Parliament Hildebrando Tapia said Monday that Peru's President Humala tour's to Europe will enhance strategic partnerships to ensure economic growth.
"We live in a globalized world, we must strengthen strategic alliances, President Humala's tour will help us sustain export growth," he told Andina news agency.

President Ollanta Humala will start on Tuesday, Nov. 13 a tour to France and Portugal, where he will meet with entrepreneurs to showcase investment opportunities in the country.  

Humala will also attend the 22nd Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government in Cadiz, Spain.

The Andean Parliament stressed Peru has a good relationship with European countries and it is reflected by the signing of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the European Union, Peru and Colombia.
