The Peruvian Government has decided to reopen its embassy in Budapest with the purpose of strengthening bilateral cooperation in political, diplomatic, economic, trade and cultural affairs, the Andean country's Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.

Such decision was taken in response to the excellent relationship between Peru and Hungary, as well as to the recent opening of the Hungarian Embassy in Lima.

It must be noted Peru and Colombia agreed to share embassy facilities in the European country, within the framework of the active cooperation both nations enjoy.

As is known, both South American countries are members of the Pacific Alliance.
