Peru will host five world tournaments in 2015 in order to resume the national team’s preparations for the 2019 Pan American Games to be held in Lima, confirmed the Peruvian Sports Institute.
On January 8 – 11 the 2015 World Junior Waterski Championship will take place 85 kilometers south of Lima at the Bujama Lacus Lakes.
In April (7 – 12) the 2015 IWF Youth World Championships will be held at the new High Performance Center of the nation’s capital.
Regarding volleyball, the U-18 female world cup will kick off on August 7 – 16.
From November 4 – 15 the Sports National Village will welcome more than 800 athletes from 40 countries for the Badminton World Federation’s World Junior Championships.
