Peru takes part in International Tourism Trade Fair in Spain

Peru’s Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Magali Silva, leads the Peruvian delegation comprised of 15 companies at the International Tourism Trade Fair (Fitur), the most important event for the Spanish market and the third largest in Europe.

The fair gathers tour operators, airlines, government entities in charge of tourist promotion both of Spain and other countries in Europe.

Fitur has a great business’ potential. It generated some S/.6 million (about US$1.9 million) in trade opportunities for Peru last year.

During her trip, Silva will also present a new international tourism campaign aimed at placing Peru as a unique destination helping travelers know themselves.

The campaign will be launched in, among others, Spain, the United States, Canada, Germany and the United Kingdom starting February this year.
