Peru soccer arrives in Barranquilla to face Colombia

Peru's national soccer team arrived in the Colombian city of Barranquilla, where it will face the hosting nation's squad at a match on Thursday September 08 at 3:30 PM (local time).

The game marks the first participation of the team at the World Cup qualifier towards Russia 2018.

Peru's squad landed in the hot city of Barranquilla at 02:30 PM (local time). Immediately, a bus carried the delegation to the Dann Carlton hotel facilities.

The team will conduct training session at the Roberto Melendez Stadium during the evening.

It is expected to return to Lima after having played Colombia, on Thursday night, in order to get ready for its next opponent Chile.

Among top stars are: Claudio Pizarro and Paolo Guerrero.
