Peru's public investment amounted to S/.188 million (about US$54.97 million) as at January 21th 2016, Peru's Economy and Finance Ministry announced on its official website.
Such investment was executed by the three levels of government: national, regional and local.
The national government headed the chart (S/.84 million, about US$24.56 million), followed by regional (S/.81 million, US$23.68 million) and local governments (S/.23 million, US$6.72 million).
By levels
At central-government level, the Transport and Communications Ministry led the ranking having executed projects worth S/.63 million (about US$18.42 million), followed by the Energy and Mines sector (S/.5 million, about US$1.46 million).
Corcerning regional governments, Ayacucho region executed public investment projects valued at S/.9 million (about US$2.63 million).
