The legislative resolutions authorizing President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski's trips to Colombia and Chile were published in El Peruano official gazette on Friday.
It must be noted both governments have previously held meetings in Iquitos (2014), Medellin (2015), and
Arequipa (2017).
To date, these binational cabinets have allowed the signing of 122 cooperation commitments on five axes: governance and social affairs; environmental, mining, and energy issues; trade, economic development, and tourism;
security and defense; and
border issues.
Likewise, resolution N° 30733 authorizes the Head of State to visit Chile on March 10-11 to attend the presidential inauguration of
Sebastian Piñera.
As is known, both trips were approved last Wednesday by Congress.
