Peruvian Head of State Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and cabinet members will meet with regional governors on September 1 and 2 to discuss joint efforts for the benefit of the country, affirmed Prime Minister Fernando Zavala on Wednesday.
The government official assured the current administration aims at focusing on economic development, which entails "working hand-in-hand with them, understanding issues, focusing on objectives and common goals."
"We have just agreed the first meeting between the president, ministers and national governors will take place on September 1 and 2," Zavala affirmed.
"We have also committed to participating in such meetings every two months. This will be the first […]," he added.
The Head of State and a ministerial delegation will travel to Southern city of Tacna on August 27 to hold audiences with Southern regions' governors.
Likewise, the official delegation will attend Tacna's anniversary festivities on August 28.
