Peru President thanks State institutions for attending emergencies

President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski expressed gratitude to the Armed Forces, National Police and volunteer firefighters for their efforts aimed at tackling emergencies caused by natural disasters in Peru.

As is known, the South American country is currently at the mercy of heavy rains, landslides and floods. 

The Head of State thanked civilian citizens, who are providing free food and aid to affected people. In addition, Peru's top official highlighted the humanitarian aid sent by foreign nations. 

Remarks were made from the National Emergency Operations Center (COEN) in Lima.

As is known, Mr. Kuczynski leads State efforts aimed at overcoming emergency situations and assisting citizens affected by the onslaughts of nature.
