Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski participated in festivities marking the 87th anniversary of Tacna city's reincorporation into Peru.
Celebrations kicked off in the Southern city's downtown at 8.00 AM.
Festivities were also attended by Vice Presidents Martin Vizcarra and Mercedes Araoz, Prime Minister Fernando Zavala, Congress Chairwoman Luz Salgado, as well as State Ministers.
The Head of State was also declared Illustrious Guest of the Heroic City.
It must be noted Prime Minister Fernando Zavala and Justice Minister Marisol Perez Tello were both born in Tacna region.
