Peruvian President met with World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim and International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde at Lima's Government Palace on Wednesday night.
The meeting was also attended by Peru's Prime Minister Pedro Cateriano, as well as Ministers of: Foreign Affairs Ana Maria Sanchez, Finance Alonso Segura and Central Reserve Bank Governor Julio Velarde.
In a joint statement, Ms. Lagarde and Mr. Jim highlighted the progress made by Peru in the economic and social fields.
On other hand, Mr. Humala highlighted social programs implemented during his time in office, such as Beca 18 scholarship program.
The Head of State went on to add Peru will continue moving forward with trade integration.
The gathering was held within the framework of the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the WBG and the IMF, currently underway in Lima.
