On this occasion, event saw the participation of 92,761 elementary-school pupils from 2,812 educational centers.

In this sense, 27 primary-school students from 17 regions were declared contest winners. Minors had joined following categories: poetry, tale, drawing and native language tale.

Competition was aimed to raise awareness of the need to protect elderly people in extreme poverty.

The event took place at Government Palace's Great Dining Room on Wednesday afternoon. At the site, Mr. Kuczynski was joined by Social Inclusion and Development Minister Cayetana Aljovin.
