Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Saturday made a call to protect the Earth and prevent pollution.
"We have to protect the Earth and prevent the pollution of our ancestral lands [located] in the Amazonia, the Andes, as well as of rivers along the coast," the Head of State said in a Facebook video.
Remarks were made on the occasion of Earth Day.
Likewise, the 78-year-old highlighted this annual event aims at raising awareness to preserve the planet's natural resources.
"It is the Earth of all Peruvians, of all the citizens of the world. Let us work on that," Peru's top official pointed out.
