Peruvian Government bets on a responsible, sustainable and open-to-dialogue mining sector, Prime Minister Mercedes Araoz affirmed.
According to the also-congresswoman, said approach aims at providing better living conditions for Peruvians nationwide, especially for those who reside near
mining projects.
In this sense, Araoz noted the Executive Branch is streamlining dialogue with the mining sector. Likewise, it is focused on achieving economic growth and
closing social gaps.
The only way to move forward —socially speaking— is by closing gaps, the Second Vice-President said in this sense.
"To this end, we must work together," she added.
Finally, the government official highlighted the progress achieved in the administrative simplification policy to unblock mining projects.
