The second and final legs of Baja Inka rally —Peru's most important off-road competition— will take place Sep 13-17 in Paracas town (Ica region), south of Lima.

Baja Inka's winner will receive a €25,000 prize and get a free entry into Dakar 2018.

Deemed as the toughest challenge in South America and the most important off-road rally in Peru, the event is key to the national tourism industry.

As is known, competition will gather the world's top cross-country rally drivers and riders.

Already 69 participants have confirmed participation in this 1000 km four-race series.

Main motorcycle riders include Kevin Benavides (Argentina), Ignacio Cornejo (Chile), Felipe Rios (Peru), Michael Metge (France), and Gerard Farres (Spain). 

The car category will feature Peruvian champion Nicolas Fuchs, Emiliano Spataro (Argentina), Sebastian Guayasamin (Ecuador), and Rodrigo Gutierrez (Bolivia), among others.

Anibal Aliaga, Juan Carlos Uribe, Leonardo Baronio (Peru), Hernan Garces, and Francisco Lopez (Chile) stand out in the UTV class.

Lastly, the most outstanding ATV riders include Ignacio Flores, Jose Yompian (Peru), Carlos Verza (Argentina), and Horacio Toro (Bolivia).
