Peruvian soccer star and Corinthians striker Paolo Guerrero recovers from Dengue disease.
Now, he has addressed his new objective: Winning the 2015 Libertadores Cup.
"I've gotten back to training sessions, and I want to get prepared properly. Corinthians has already shown we are the best team in Brazil, now our objective is to become champions […]," he declared during a press conference.
Guerrero said it was difficult for him to watch his team "playing" while not being included in the starting squad.
"These 14 days were long. Thank God I'm feeling better. I hope to be on the field for Copa Libertadores. It was difficult for me to be at the stadium or watching the games on TV and not being able to enter the field, but I am fine [now]," he told reporters.
The Peruvian forward has begun training with his colleagues at the Corinthians soccer club’s official gym facilities. He aims at getting back on track.
