Presidents of the Pacific Alliance inked the Paracas Declaration today along with other agreements and commitments adopted during the 10th Summit of the region’s economic bloc held in the beach area of Paracas.
The signing ceremony took place at noon. It saw the participation of Presidents of Chile, Michelle Bachelet; Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto and Peru, Ollanta Humala, whose country assumed the bloc's Pro-Tempore Presidency.
Juan Manuel Santos from Colombia was replaced by Chancellor Maria Angela Holguin, as he had to move his return journey forward due to terrorist attacks occurred in Bogota.
Last day activities started at 9:30 A.M. (local time) with bilateral meetings.
