The Peruvian Air Force has so far transported more than 15,000 downpour, landslide and flooding victims from the country's northern areas, mainly Piura and Tumbes regions.
A series of Boeing, Spartan and Antonov, among other aircrafts, have made over 360 airlift flights carrying citizens affected by clogged highways and main ways.
As is known, the Inca nation has been struck by natural disasters in recent weeks, which have left several communities isolated and unable to reach aid and medical assistance via land transport.
The above pictures depict some of the airlifted citizens. They landed in Air Group N° 8, located adjacent to Lima’s Jorge Chavez International Airport.
