Peruvian President's wife Nancy Lange on Monday received at least 100 tons of humanitarian aid from Apurimac region's Andahuaylas province citizens for natural disaster victims.
As is known, U.S.-born Lange leads the reception of items at the Government Palace, one of eleven relief aid collection points set up in Lima.
Said aid delivery was led by province Mayor Narciso Campos.
Donations included potatoes, corn, bottled water, rice, wheat, evaporated milk, quinoa, barley and cookies, among other products. Goods will be sent nationwide.
Mrs. Lange also thanked Andahuaylas' citizens for their gesture of solidarity.
"We are a united country, thank you," she expressed.
