Peru Moda 2015: 79 top Brazilian brands to join Lima’s top fashion event of the year

Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Magali Silva confirmed the participation of a top Brazilian delegation (composed of 79 enterprises) at the Peru Moda and Peru Gift Show 2015's second stage.

This event will be held on May 27-29 at the Peruvian Army Headquarters (El Pentagonito) auditorium located in San Borja district, Lima.

Peru Moda's first stage took place on April 16. It comprised a business meeting, which gathered over 114 international buyers and 200 exporters.

"This event reunites the best of the Peruvian exportable garment, footwear and jewelry supplies. It is here, where the quality of the Peruvian products will be perceived and commercial relations with national enterprises, known for their recognized versatility and response to the market, will be established," indicated the head of Mincetur.

Of the 79 Brazilian enterprises to be present in the event, 43 will participate in Peru Moda for the first time.
Brands to introduce their products will be: Brooksfield, Ricardo Almeida, Benetton Sudamérica Brasil, Penalty, Sumimoto Project Sudamérica, Mundo do Enxoval, Rubinella, Fatto a Mano, Green by Missako, Cantão, Redley, Vulcabrás Azaleia and Valencien, among others.

"The Brazilian delegation is present in 10 States, one of them is Sao Paulo. All of them are significant in terms of inhabitants and purchasing power [...]," the Minister expressed.

In this sense, she highlighted the work carried out by both Peru's Commercial Office located in Sao Paulo (OCEX) and Promperú by promoting national products in the international market.

"We expect to deepen relations with our Premium customers in Brazil, open new market niches and broaden the Peruvian presence in new Brazilian states in 2015," she stated.
