Juan Diego Florez's benefit gig— aimed at collecting funds for natural disaster victims in Peru— will bring 500 artists and Afro-Peruvian icon Eva Ayllon together in the same show.

The top tenor has prepared an amazing concert featuring performances that evoke music from all over the country.

The concert repertoire includes: El Tamalito, Contigo Peru, Jose Antonio, Mal Paso, Adios Pueblo de Ayacucho, Valicha, El Alcatraz, Amanecer Andino and El Condor Pasa.

The event will also feature a special appearance by children and youth from Symphony for Peru's orchestra and choir.

They will take the stage along with dancers, who will set the festive and fun tone.

Eva Ayllon will be Florez's special guest, with whom he is set to sing a duet. This is believed to become the most celebrated moment of the night.

The event is presented by Peru's Culture Ministry, Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) and Telefonica del Peru.

The money raised will be given to Peru's State-run National Civil Defense Institute (Indeci) to support victims and reconstruction efforts in areas severely hit by "Coastal El Niño" climate phenomenon.

Tickets are sold via Teleticket platforms at Wong and Metro supermarkets. The cheapest seats cost S/33 (around US$10).
