Hydrocarbon royalties amounted to US$56.5 million in July this year, a 4.1% increase from the same period in 2016, National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy (SNMPE) reported Tuesday.
According to the latest SNMPE bulletin, July 2017 royalties also experienced a 7.9% increase over the previous month.
Said growth was underpinned by: natural gas liquids (US$29.1 million), natural gas (US$17.9 million) and oil (US$9.5 million).
Investments
Regarding investments carried out in June 2017, US$45 million was destined for upstream stage. The figure denoted a rise of 98.1% from the same period in 2016 (US$22.7 million) and 29.8% compared to May 2017 (US$34.7 million).
Price
Oil price amounted to US$46.6 per barrel, whereas natural gas stood at US$2.98 per million BTU.
