Peru's President Ollanta Humala agreed to deliver the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement to Congress for corresponding debate, Prime Minister Pedro Cateriano announced.
"A major step towards achieving development. Long live Peru!" he posted on Twitter.
According to the official, TPP is "the world's greatest trade agreement." It will allow the Inca nation to remain closer to the "planet's most powerful countries."
The next Congress will start the great debate aimed at ratification.
"I am confident we will make that step forward towards our economic development," he expressed.
