Kuczynski’s administration has won business sector’s vote of confidence thanks to the positive impact of actions taken during his first 100 days in office, IPSOS Peru representative Guillermo Loli affirmed on Friday.

Said actions aimed to reactivate the economy and bring the State closer to citizens.

When asked about the results of IPSOS Peru survey —conducted during the Annual Conference of Executives (CADE)— Loli noted the business sector has regained optimism and hope.

“Support to the government’s first 100 days was featured in the survey responses [...], Kuczynski’s approval reached 89% and Prime Minister Fernando Zavala got 93% of support,” he told Andina news agency.

Likewise, the polling company’s representative remarked 57% of respondents are optimistic about the country’s progress, and that “the government won CADE attendees’ vote of confidence.”

The business sector stressed the Executive’s first efforts to reactivate the economy, unblock investments, fight against crime and facilitate administrative procedures.

Moreover, entrepreneurs acknowledged Kuczynski’s familiarity with economic management and the “excellent Cabinet he appointed.”
