Peru gov't condemns Yemen terror attack

The Government of Peru has expressed its strongest condemnation over the terrorist assault that killed 71 people and left hundreds more wounded in Yemen.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a release expressing its solidarity and deep condolences to the Government of Yemen and families of the victims of the attack occurred on Monday, August 29.

The suicide bombing targeted young recruits at a military facility in southern port city of Aden.

Peru expressed its total condemnation of terrorism in all its forms, as they make an attempt on people’s life, integrity and security.

It also reiterated its constant and firm commitment to fully respecting international humanitarian law and human rights.
