The Peruvian Government will promote large-scale projects to benefit the country's southern regions, Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski stated.
He went on to add his administration will continue to articulate efforts with regional governors and thus benefit citizens.
Expanding drinking water coverage for the population is one of his administration's commitments, the Head of State pointed out.
Likewise, the government will work on port-related matters, which "will move forward only if a transoceanic train service is implemented in the Peruvian south."
"[…] we have already met with Southern region governors, and we must have a plan for the south, which includes access to basic services for all Peruvians," Mr. Kuczynski said.
The Head of State stressed that governors should consider him as a friend, who will welcome them at the Government Palace.
