Peru's Culture Ministry reaffirmed the 55 museums —under its administration— will open on a regular schedule during the coming National Independence holidays (July 27-30).

The measure is aimed at offering citizens a cultural alternative during those days.

In this sense, all the required information can be found on a website administered by the Ministry.

In this context, nationals and foreigners will be allowed to visit the following facilities: Royal Tombs of Sipan, Bruning National Archaeological Museum, Sican National Museum and Huaca Chotuna–Chornancap (Lambayeque region).

The list also contains Chan Chan (La Libertad), Regional Historic Cusco Museum (Cusco), Chavin National Museum (Ancash) and Julio C. Tello Museum (Ica), among others.

The 55 museums will open their doors from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
