Peru's Chancellor Ana Maria Sanchez will participate in the Economic Commission for Latin American and the Caribbean (ECLAC) session's Foreign Affairs Ministers and High-level Authorities Dialogue taking place in Mexico City on May 27th, 2016.
Meetings will be held within the framework of the 36th ECLAC session, which constitutes the multilateral organization's most important biennial gathering.
Issues related to the development of countries will be analyzed.
According to a Supreme Resolution published in El Peruano official gazette, Mrs. Sanchez's presence will guarantee the proper representation of Peru required to adopt commitments and approve resolutions at the forum.
Likewise, her participation aims to ensure the dissemination of information regarding social and economic development policies crafted by the Peruvian Government.
Culture Minister Diana Alvarez-Calderon will take over the Foreign Affairs portfolio while Mrs. Sanchez is abroad.
The resolution was signed by President Ollanta Humala, Prime Minister Pedro Cateriano and Chancellor Ana Maria Sanchez.
