Peru's Economy and Finance Ministry (MEF) Public Budget General Directorate won a prize at this year's Management for Development Results Awards.

Granted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the prize recognized the Budgeting for Results category winner: MEF.

The IDB prize was awarded to the following case: "Towards greater effectiveness of the State: Budget Implementation by results and reduction of chronic child malnutrition in Peru."

Management for Development Results awards are given to high-level officials worldwide that have been involved with Managing for Development Results (MfDR) in their countries.
