Deputy Tourism Minister Roger Valencia will participate in the 2017 Visit California Outlook Forum to promote Peruvian tourist destinations, mainly Machu Picchu.

Set to take in the U.S. city of Santa Barbara (CA) on February 27-March 1, said forum is California's premier annual travel marketing conference.

Likewise, the gathering provides a platform for the State's travel and tourism industry, which aims at sharing mutual successes and strategizing a united path forward.

In addition, the event gathers global tourism industry experts, who will discuss the latest marketing research results, strategies and development tactics.

At the site, Mr. Valencia will hold a presentation titled "Machu Picchu's Use Plan For Tourism Purposes."

During his lecture, he will address the good practices currently implemented by Peru to preserve its main tourist destination.
