The Peruvian Congress authorized President Ollanta Humala's trip to Paris (France), where he will participate in the Organization for Co-operation and Economic Development (OECD) Forum.
Peru's top official will stay overseas from May 30th to June 3rd, according to a request from the Executive Power.
In Paris, Mr. Humala will meet French counterpart Francois Hollande and co-preside over the launching ceremony of the OECD Regional Programme for Latin America and the Caribbean.
In a plenary session, 44 votes in favor, 24 abstentions and 6 against granted corresponding permission to the Head of State.
As is known Peru intends to fully join the OECD.
