Peruvian soccer team manager Antonio Garcia Pye on Thursday confirmed the Inca squad will face Scottish counterpart in a friendly match.

"This game has been confirmed. It is not easy to bring a team like Scotland [to Peru] because we always have to minimize costs," he expressed.

The event will take place in Lima on May 29 at 8:00 PM (local time).

Four friendly matches

The Peru-Scotland match will be the third game the Inca team is expected to play.

Plus, it will face Sweden in Stockholm on June 9, also as preparation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

As is known, the first friendly will be against Croatia on March 23 in Miami, whereas the second game against Iceland is slated for March 27 in Harrison, NJ
