After an amazing performance, Peruvian Muay Thai team grabbed seven gold and four silver medals at the Pan American Championship 2016 held on December 1-4th.
The event took place at Chamochumbi Coliseum in Lima’s Magdalena del Mar district and gathered nine American countries.
National athletes Tristana Tola, Berenice Villegas, Lisanne Van Der Molen, Anderson Vilca, Renato Mansilla, Gabriel Mazzetti and Luis Guzman won gold.
On the other hand, Joseph Cabello, John Valdiviezo, Ian Escuza and Giovanni Mazzetti claimed silver.
Thanks to this result, some Peruvian fighters qualified to the 2017 World Games in Wroclaw (Poland) on July 25-30.
