Peruvian Foreign Minister Roncagliolo said the two countries are planning a bilateral meeting between Peru’s President Ollanta Humala and his Brazilian counterpart, Dilma Rousseff.

Roncagliolo said that this meeting could take place on the occasion of the Third Summit of South American and Arab Countries (ASPA) in October 2012 in Lima, or maybe during the summit of Unasur heads of state to be held in Peru later this year.

He added that the bilateral summit will include meetings between social development ministers and business leaders from both nations.

For his part, Brazil’s Foreign Minister Patriota said that as part of the strategic alliance new areas of cooperation and experience sharing in the science and technology field are being explored.
