Peru appoints new Ambassadors to Portugal, Brunei, Trinidad and Tobago

The Executive Power appointed new Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to Portugal, Brunei and Trinidad and Tobago.

According to Supreme Resolution No. 080-2017-RE, Hilda Maritza Puertas Valdivieso de Rodriguez will become Peru's top envoy to Portugal.

Likewise, Luis Rodomiro Hernandez Ortiz was appointed Peru's top representative to Trinidad and Tobago, according to Supreme Resolution No. 078-2017-RE.

Credentials and full powers have been granted to the officials in accordance with corresponding resolutions published today in El Peruano official gazette.

In both cases, ministerial resolutions will set the dates on which the new Ambassadors will officially take up diplomatic duties.

The Executive also named Guido Felipe Loayza Devescovi as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Nation of Brunei, the Abode of Peace.

It must be noted Mr. Loayza currently serves as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to Malaysia, while based in Kuala Lumpur.

Documents were signed by President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and Foreign Affairs Minister Ricardo Luna.
