Peru’s Defense minister, Pedro Cateriano meets this morning with his Chilean counterpart, Jose Burgos, at the Peruvian Army’s General Headquarters.
The meeting is being held in private. Burgos was welcomed with the corresponding honors due to his status.
Chile’s Defense minister arrived in Lima to participate in the launching ceremony for the hull of the Training Ship “Union”.
Authorities from 11 American nations including, among others, Defense ministers of Peru, Ecuador and Chile, will take part in the launching ceremony for the hull of the Training Ship “Union,” to be hosted by Peruvian President Ollanta Humala.
