Peruvian ambassador to Turkey, Jorge Enrique Abarca del Carpio, was simultaneously appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Azerbaijan, according to a Supreme Resolution published today in El Peruano official journal.
The document indicates Ambassador Abarca del Carpio will take up residence in Ankara, Turkey.
Credentials and full powers have been issued to the diplomat in accordance with Law N° 28091 “Law on Diplomatic Service” and its Regulations approved by Supreme Decree Nº 130-2003-RE; they were also submitted pursuant to the affirmative vote of the Council of Ministers.
The Supreme Resolution was inked by President Ollanta Humala Tasso and Foreign Affairs Minister Gonzalo Gutierrez Reinel.
